When my dad decided to enroll me in Manila for college, my brother teasingly said that the place always gets flooded when it rains. I kidded him back “Then I am going to get one of those police-man-type (wellie) boots!” which then only comes in black or yellow. Now, this wellie boots comes in different colors, different designs and different fit. I didn’t have the guts to wear one of those ordinary looking boots then, which you can actually buy at a hardware store. It was not a common thing to wear then compared now. If I was still in college, I will probably buy one pink wellie for myself. Even my little princess who I suppose is also a shoe addict like the mom thinks wellies looks nice on her feet. (She asked me one time at the department store to try the cheap wellie bootie on her feet.) If I ever decide to get one, I’ll probably get a daughter-mom pair. What do you think?
