My Mommy’s Shoes
Why do kids love to try and wear their mommy’s shoes? I have been in that situation before but do we actually have the same reasons for trying on big adult shoes? If I remember it right, I was fascinated with my mom’s red high heeled shoes because of its color. Other than that, I was not really that excited to grow up to be able to wear all my mom’s shoes. Lucky for me, I grew up having the same shoe size as my mom’s. And good thing we share the same passion for shoes.
As for my littler girl, she tries on almost all my shoes and slippers and often than not, she wears them leaving me with her own slippers or shoes to wear. Believe me, I’ve worn my mom’s shoes as a kid but never imagined that I’d actually wear my little princess’ slippers just to prove a point to her that we can’t exchange slippers since hers won’t fit mine and vice versa. Hopefully we would also end up having the same shoe size in the future.
