REMINDS ME OF: Austin Powers

And my dad.

I remember my dad one time when I was about to attend a High School Dance event where I was wearing a semi formal blue short about 6 inches above the knee. My dad inspected if I was wearing a shorts, perhaps referring to a cycling shorts, under the one I was wearing. I had to laugh at his reaction and told him no, I was not wearing such. He didn’t really reprimanded me for not wearing anything under my not so short shorts.

Then I saw old pictures of my mom and dad. I saw one picture of my mom wearing a micro mini skirt dress which was in fashion during the 60s and 70s. I had to laugh and asked my dad for “inspecting” my shorts when those micro mini skirts were already in fashion during their days. *teehee*

Anyway, just going down memory lane here. My mom even said that If she only knew that those 60s and 70s clothes and shoes will go back in fashion, she could have save some for me. Honestly speaking, I found some of those clothes and even wore it during a Company Christmas Party. It was way too short for me that I had to wear pants with the micro mini dress my mom once wore! And I wonder, how could they have worn that without pants! Were they wearing shorts underneath? *grins*
