Sanuk Espathrill
Tags: Sanuk
I have been planning of buying Sanuk since it first came out here in the Philippines but haven’t found the design that I really like. Thanks to Maver, who’s familiar with all the stores at Greenbelt 5, I was finally able to buy a Sanuk for myself.
Sanuk Espathrill is not the typical Sanuk sidewalk surfer style and I get a 2 for 1 deal with this one since I also wanted an espadrille kind of shoes. For that, I was eyeing Toms or Paez.
I have been using this for two days now and true to its description, it’s lightweight and flexible.
Sanuk Espathrill is made of:
-
- “Vulc-Lite” Footbed with Canvas Sock Liner
- Handmade Canvas Upper with Asymmetrical Deco Stitching
- Easy On-Easy Off Flap and Espadrille Foxing Detail
- Synthetic Liner
- Gum Rubber Outsole
- Vegan and Vegetarian friendly
“They’re not shoes, they’re sandals.”
A combination of style and protection of a shoe with a natural comfort of a sandal. – Sanuk ad (April 17, 2009)
According to the sale person who assisted me, each store carries different collections. In Rustan’s Alabang Town Center, most of the style they carry are the sandals (flip flops), tube flops (flip flops with below the knee socks) and a few of sidewalk surfer style for women. While at Bratpack in Greenbelt 5, they have lots of the sidewalk surfer style and fewer Sanuk sandals (flip flops) for women. Both stores also carry men’s style.
I got this one for PHP2116.50, 10% less than the original price. Available online for $55.

Hi Fatima,
I got my pair in the Philippines. I’m not sure where you from but if your not from here, then I suggest you buy it from an online store and have it deliver to your place
. Or try Sanuk’s website, they may have information on local stores and resellers near you.
Thanks for dropping by.
