Oh yeah, hello there! taking a breather while my other work machine is updating (very slowly).  I have lots of pending posts specially on Fashion Week that happened 2 months ago! I know! Very delinquent.  And to think I still have other blogs to update! So many things to do so little time.

Anyway, going back to the wedge shoes, these are some of the shoes I really like and I wish these are available here! I know I can buy online but I am too afraid to do it not because of credit card frauds but because of our local customs = high TAX fee!

Juicy Couture – Giana Ankle-Wrap Espadrilles, $195

One more reason why I won’t be buying shoes online unless I am pretty sure of the brand is that there’s a chance that it won’t fit me properly (as to what happened to me before).  Even there’s free shipping, returns and exchange, the hassle and the wait is not usually worth it (unless it’s the last piece and you’re dying to have it ). Plus it may end up not to my liking, quality wise.  Like in this case, there are some espadrille base shoes that are light and easy on the feet and there are some that are not and I don’t want to end up with that.

As for my new shoes, I bought it at CMG for PHP999.00 (around $21.00) only, on sale.  I didn’t see the original price but according to my mom it was around PHP2000.00.

I also saw a Kicker Peep-toe espadrille sandals worth around PHP2500.00 (around $54.00) which is available in blue or pink plaid.  Cute but I think it was too expensive.

But while checking out what’s new from Neiman Marcus, i came across the Belle by Sigerson detachable shaft gladiator.  It has a detachable strap shafts which convert the sandals from either being a two-buckle ankle strap sandals or a complete above ankle gladiator sandals with three-buckle strap shaft.

This sandals comes in 2 different colors, black and bronze and is worth $250.

Nice concept huh!

Would you believe that for a person like me who loves anything red, I only have one pair of red flats? Oh, yes, I only have one pair of red shoes.  My shoe colors range from black, silver/gray, gold, and brown and some white.  I like simple or what you may call dull colors.  Safe colors.

Well, I find it practical since those colors that I have goes with any colors. Right?  But when I saw the red patented flats, oh I fell in love immediately but didn’t really get to buy it at once.  The good thing about it was I was able to get it for a lesser price.  Never intended to wait for it to go on sale but it did.  From $60, I got it around $15.

Anyway, if I was still working in the corporate world, I would definitely going to have this pumps as an accessory to my office attire.  Nice right?

This reminds me of my first ever Nine West sandals minus the ankle/heel straps.  That was way back in 2000.  It was really comfy to wear and gives you a little height without feeling it.

Fashion always goes on evolution and that’s one reason we should take good care of our belongings since maybe after a decade, who knows, you might find a need to wear it again.

I got an e-mail regarding the new site of BCBGMaxazria and I like the new site. Easier to navigate. Well, I only tried seeing their shoe collections, nevertheless, the option was already in front page. No drop down menus necessary.

I initially liked three shoes from their current collection but narrowed it down to 2. I didn’t like the form of the heels as I look closely at the details of the shoes. Three almost narrowed down to one, again, because of the heels.

Anyway, here are my two choices:

Dian Ankle-Wrap Heel is an open toe cutout bootie with an pleated ankle wrapping. It’s made of leather and has a back zipper closure. Almost didn’t make it to my selection because of the color of the heels. I am not really a fan of this kind of heel color. Sold for $225.00.

Fiona Asymmetrical Strappy Sandal is also an open toe sandal with an asymmetric strap that makes it look more sexy, not to mention that almost 5 inch heel height. Sold for $198.00.
