Oh yeah, hello there! taking a breather while my other work machine is updating (very slowly).  I have lots of pending posts specially on Fashion Week that happened 2 months ago! I know! Very delinquent.  And to think I still have other blogs to update! So many things to do so little time.

Anyway, going back to the wedge shoes, these are some of the shoes I really like and I wish these are available here! I know I can buy online but I am too afraid to do it not because of credit card frauds but because of our local customs = high TAX fee!

One more reason why I won’t be buying shoes online unless I am pretty sure of the brand is that there’s a chance that it won’t fit me properly (as to what happened to me before).  Even there’s free shipping, returns and exchange, the hassle and the wait is not usually worth it (unless it’s the last piece and you’re dying to have it ). Plus it may end up not to my liking, quality wise.  Like in this case, there are some espadrille base shoes that are light and easy on the feet and there are some that are not and I don’t want to end up with that.

As for my new shoes, I bought it at CMG for PHP999.00 (around $21.00) only, on sale.  I didn’t see the original price but according to my mom it was around PHP2000.00.

I also saw a Kicker Peep-toe espadrille sandals worth around PHP2500.00 (around $54.00) which is available in blue or pink plaid.  Cute but I think it was too expensive.

I have a soft spot with wedges and crisscross.  No doubt I’d like this style at first look.  There is something sexy with crisscrossed shoe details.  Reminds me of Cleopatra.

One other thing that caught my attention is this somehow bare oxford style shoes. There’s another one to come.

While doing my usual routine of checking my email and currently reading Neiman Marcus’ pre-fall collection ad, the little princess blurted out “nice shoes!” Funny, I was also thinking the same. *teehee*  This just goes to show that we have the same taste in shoes.

Anyway, the model in the picture is wearing the Colorblock Patent Platform from the pre-fall collection of Fendi. It is made of black and hot pink patent leather, with a crisscross instep with buckle closure. This open toe platform shoes with 4 and 3/4 inch high heels is worth $720 at Neiman Marcus.

The last time I was there, which was 9 years ago, the weather was kind of wet during early morning and super hot at noon towards the afternoon. I am silently wishing that it won’t be raining just like the last time. At least my little princess could enjoy the vacation as well as the rest of her cousins (with my sister) who are traveling with us.

Anyway, since it’s expected to be summer by then, I was wishing that I still have my wedge laced up sandal with me. I remember having one after seeing this Mecca Lace-up Wedge Platform sandals by Diane Von Frustenberg.
