But while checking out what’s new from Neiman Marcus, i came across the Belle by Sigerson detachable shaft gladiator.  It has a detachable strap shafts which convert the sandals from either being a two-buckle ankle strap sandals or a complete above ankle gladiator sandals with three-buckle strap shaft.

This sandals comes in 2 different colors, black and bronze and is worth $250.

Nice concept huh!

I recently had a wedge disaster while window shopping.  My 2 year old wedge gave up on me!  This one was one of my favorites.  I bought this while I was 5 months pregnant with the little princess.  I was not supposedly going to buy it since I am not really allowed to wear high shoes while pregnant.  But I was not able to resist the beautiful wedge plus the fact that I got it cheap!

With what happened, I was forced to buy another shoes that day not unless I plan to walk without anything on my feet.  It was perhaps a blessing since I was looking for a thong sandals for about a month now.  Was not really planning on the gladiator style but amongst the thong sandals in the store, this Celine White Gladiator Thong Sandals got my attention.

What I liked about the gladiator thong sandals is the fact that the shape of the tip of the shoes fits the shape of my feet, unlike those sandals I previously saw and tried.  One thing that I don’t like about it though is that I don’ feel comfortable using it for long walks.  The insole is kind of hard but a gel could probably solve the problem and ease the discomfort it gives my feet.

The shoe costs PHP999, roughly $20 and available at Celine Stores.  Bought mine at Alabang Town Center.

Have you seen Sex And The City Movie where the girls paraded different designer clothes, bags and of course, shoes?  Most girls I know went gaga not for the storyline but because of the designer bags and shoes used throughout the movie.

One of the shoes that Carrie Bradshaw was wearing for more than one scene is this Extreme Dior Gladiator Platform.  It’s an open toe 4.75 inch stiletto high heel with contoured bands over vamp, top of foot, and around ankle. It has a leather sole with rubber heel pad and sold for $770.00.

I love the unique idea of YSL‘s shoe collection on the catwalk for Paris Fashion Week. Interesting that those metallic heels are walkable. I like the galdiatorish design except for the form of the heels. Something about it is off or does not come along with the galadiatorish design of the shoe. Or is it just me?
