I was not actually planning on buying a bootie but a pair of flats.  Remember that I was actually hunting for this, but when I checked Zappos again, the smallest size they have was 7.5.  Too late!

Then there was this.

Anyway, was browsing Endless.com when I chance upon their on going sale.  I was originally checking their site for any Marc by Marc Jacobs flats but to no avail.  And the next thing I searched for were booties for my dress which I planned to wear to a wedding.  Came up with 4 choices and asked hubby for his opinion and we both end up liking the Joy Chen shootie.

Joy Chen started designing footwear in 2005.  It is “a new brand devoted to a younger, American, fashion-savvy audience”.

This is actually my third time to buy shoes online and I was kind of uneasy about it since I can’t really return it back.  Ordered a size 7 with B width hoping it is the right size.

It felt a bit narrow at first but after awhile, I was able to adjust and get comfortable with it even with the 4.5 inches estimated heel height.  For me, it’s actually much comfortable to wear compared to my other shoes with 4 inch heel height.

Made with hair calf, this shootie has an original price of $194.95.  Currently on sale at Endless.com for $107.22 with additional special offer.  Got mine last October for around $89.  Such a good deal for me

I first saw the Christian Louboutin boots way back in April.  And tonight, from the same designer,  I saw its other version which is the peep-toe pumps.  Decided then that I must not skip this opportunity anymore and before forgetting about it all together, I must post something about these shoes now.

Anyway, last April, I saw and found this Christian Louboutin Let Me Tell You Ankle Boots interesting.  In Christian Louboutin’s main site, it is described as the shoes that let’s one feet do the talking.  I’ve been trying to Google the meaning of the words in the shoes but with no success.  If I remember it right, I have already read the meaning of this before somewhere in cyberspace.

To continue,  I also found out that this style actually comes in three variations: white and yellow leather with black stitching, black leather with red stitching and black leather with black stitching, just like what is shown in the picture.  From Saks Fifth Avenue, this one is available for $2195.00.

And then there’s the Christian Louboutin Let Me Tell You Peep-Toe Pumps version. This one comes in two variations: white, yellow, black leather with black stitching and the black leather with white stitching.  I like the multi-colored version over the black and white one.  And again, from Saks Fifth Avenue, this one is available for $1347.00.

Oh yeah, hello there! taking a breather while my other work machine is updating (very slowly).  I have lots of pending posts specially on Fashion Week that happened 2 months ago! I know! Very delinquent.  And to think I still have other blogs to update! So many things to do so little time.

Anyway, going back to the wedge shoes, these are some of the shoes I really like and I wish these are available here! I know I can buy online but I am too afraid to do it not because of credit card frauds but because of our local customs = high TAX fee!

Juicy Couture – Giana Ankle-Wrap Espadrilles, $195

One more reason why I won’t be buying shoes online unless I am pretty sure of the brand is that there’s a chance that it won’t fit me properly (as to what happened to me before).  Even there’s free shipping, returns and exchange, the hassle and the wait is not usually worth it (unless it’s the last piece and you’re dying to have it ). Plus it may end up not to my liking, quality wise.  Like in this case, there are some espadrille base shoes that are light and easy on the feet and there are some that are not and I don’t want to end up with that.

As for my new shoes, I bought it at CMG for PHP999.00 (around $21.00) only, on sale.  I didn’t see the original price but according to my mom it was around PHP2000.00.

I also saw a Kicker Peep-toe espadrille sandals worth around PHP2500.00 (around $54.00) which is available in blue or pink plaid.  Cute but I think it was too expensive.

I like the concept but I am not sure how to pair this off with any of my clothes.  I mean, do I or can I pair this with a denim pants, denim skirt or denim short without overdoing it?  With wedges, I like to pair it off with shorts/mini skirts.  It feels more sexy by showing off more legs. Perhaps leggings or skinny jeans will also do.

Some of the shoe styles from the latest collection of Gucci now available online.

Gucci Daryl Platform Sandal.  Looks ordinary but the detail actually has the strap following the outline of the foot.  Comes in three colors, choose between black, gray and or white.  It is made of leather and suede with about 4 inches heel height and 1 inch platform.  Available for $930.

If you are not into platform sandals, you might want to check out Daryl flat sandals counterpart.

Gucci Debra Pump.  Some shoes looks the same. It’s a matter of which feels better or which is cheaper than the other.  So how do you make an edge over the other?  Do something unique.  Enhance the everyday ordinary stilettos into something like this one, stilettos with bamboo detail.

The Gucci Debra Pump also has about 4 inch heel height.  This particular design is available in taupe or black suede for $640.  Other color variation includes black and blue patent leather.

Other style variation is an open toe sandal with ankle strap which also comes in either blue or black patent leather.

Last but not the least, Gucci Helena Cutout Boots.  It’s an open toe platform style boots with cutout details.  Around 4 inch heel height and 1 inch platform.  Sold for $1550.  Color variation comes in black or grey leather.  Other style variation is a flat open toe sandals.

This last piece actually looks futuristic.  It reminds me of either Batman or Blade.  Yeah, no kidding!
